Frisco Greenway Trail

The Frisco Greenway Trail is a multi-use "rails to trails" project that is maintained by the Joplin Trails Coalition. The 3.5 mile trail consists of firmly packed gravel on top of an old railroad bed and is suitable for walking, running, or biking. It extends from North Street in Joplin, MO to Highway 171 in Webb City, MO.

There are two trail heads with parking. One is in Joplin on St Louis Street near Zora Street (GPS Coordinates: N 37° 06.726'   W 94° 29.627'), and the other trail head is in Webb City at the Freeman Clinic on Highway 171 (GPS Coordinates: N 37° 08.429'   W 94° 28.732'). The portion of the Frisco Greenway Trail from Mount Hope Road to 14th Street in Webb City will be closed until further notice while work continues on the extension of 17th Street. Hopefully, the construction will be finished soon, allowing the trail to reopen. Keep checking the website as we will post details here when they become available.

2. Pets Must Be On 4 Foot Leash; Owners, Please Remove All Waste!
3. Keep To The Right, Except To Pass
4. Bicyclists, Sound Warning Before Passing Pedestrians
5. Bicyclists Yield To Pedestrians -- "Wheels Yield To Heels!"
6. Look Both Ways And Yield At Street Crossings
7. No Alcoholic Beverages Or Tobacco Products Of Any Kind To Be Used On Trail
8. Stay On The Trail -- Please Respect Property Rights Of Trail Neighbors
9. Please Do Not Litter
10. Trail Open During Daylight Hours Only
