Adopt a Trail

We started the adopt a trail program in 2020 to better manage the expanding trail system.
Trailblazers are dedicated volunteers who perform light trimming and clearing on a section of trail a few times a year. Heavier maintenance (trees down) and trail surface issues can be referred to our maintenance team or trail boss to organize resources to take care of the problem. These volunteers enjoy the pride of ownership that comes with serving as a Trailblazer. If you would like to sign up, any of the open sections are available. You can contact us to volunteer or to ask more questions about the program here: joplintrailscoaltion@gmail.com
